Our on-site digital imaging suite allows our veterinarians to visualise internal structures, detect abnormalities and guide treatment plans without referral delays. Both digital radiography and ultrasound are available on demand, providing complementary information โ X-rays excel at evaluating bones, lungs and large organ outlines, while ultrasound provides real-time soft tissue detail and fluid detection. Together, they form a powerful diagnostic pair.
What's Included
Digital Radiography (DR X-Ray)
High-resolution digital X-rays of the thorax (lungs, heart, ribs), abdomen (organ size, position, foreign bodies), spine and all four limbs. Images available immediately.
Abdominal Ultrasound
Real-time evaluation of liver, spleen, kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, gastrointestinal tract, pancreas and reproductive organs using B-mode sonography.
Thoracic Ultrasound & Cardiac Assessment
Evaluation of pleural effusion (fluid around lungs), pericardial effusion (fluid around heart), and basic echocardiographic assessment of cardiac chambers.
Pregnancy Confirmation
Ultrasound detection of gestational sacs from approximately 21โ25 days post-ovulation; foetal heartbeats from day 25โ28.
Foetal Viability & Counting
Assessment of foetal count (more accurate from day 45+), foetal heartbeat presence and movement to evaluate litter viability close to parturition.
Musculoskeletal Radiography
Assessment of fractures, growth plate injuries, joint disease (hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, OCD), bone tumours and developmental abnormalities.
Foreign Body Localisation
Detection and localisation of ingested metallic or radio-opaque foreign bodies, combined with ultrasound for non-radio-opaque objects.
Ultrasound-Guided Sampling
Image-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) of masses, cysts and fluid collections for diagnostic sampling with improved accuracy and safety.
